What’s Up Wednesday {July 26, 2023}

 

Today I am linking up With Shay and Sheaffer  for What’s Up Wednesday! 

We want to go to the pool on Saturday! We have a nice pool in our condo complex and it closes for the year in October but it starts getting cold here around September sometimes end of August. We want to take advantage before it closes for the season. It is also Ryan’s birthday! 29 years old!! I have his gift that I bought for him. I *was* going to make a gift basket with a bunch of other stuff but our budget doesn’t allow it. We have a mortgage and living paycheck to paycheck. Hopefully I get a raise at work soon and/or pick up a part-time job. So pool on Saturday, on Friday I have a Dr’s appointment and Ryan is off so we will be out of the house that day. We want to go bowling, hope we can do that this weekend.  

 

My birthday is *next* month, the one thing I requested was a cake. I always feel it ain’t a birthday without a cake. I really want a Funfetti cake with homemade frosting from a bakery in the area.

Also this year me and Ryan will be going to Texas to visit family! Hopefully around October or November. 

See above, but I am getting also a minor day surgery the *day* after my birthday, the dentist is fixing my gums and doing a deep cleaning. 

Our vacation to Disneyland last October. I miss Disney so much!

We are currently watching Atlanta. We are on season 4 mid-way through the season.

Before Atlanta we binged watched, “Based on a True Story” the new show that Kaley Cuoco stars on about a podcast murder mystery. It is so good.

What I’m working on:  Growing my social media, TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest are my focus right now. We are also working on creating a YouTube!

What we’re eating this week:

My previous post I talk about my freezer challenge.  We have been eating pasta, I made chocolate chip banana bread to use up Bananas, but I am the only one in this family that likes sweets. Even though it is not * that* sweet. I also ate up the last of some random fish nuggets.  I am excited to see what else I can eat this next coming week. 

What We’ve Been up to: We been doing a lot of fun day trips around the Bay area. Two weekends ago we played tourist for the day in SF, this past weekend we went to the movies and saw two major movies that we got tickets for early this month. Oppenheimer and Barbie. OMG they are must watch movies!
